1. How to search through the playlist while searching for added/deleted files (Check new)?

If you wish to restrict current files in the playlist, you just need to indicate a file search filter like 'Eminem' instead of the default '.mp3' then press 'Check new' even if no added/deleted files have been found. It is a great option because it is easier to search for your files while updating the playlist!

For V1.00 to V1.10B

1. How to pause or keep the music down?
Press the appropriated pause button signaled by the || symbol.
The stop button main function is to stop the music temporarily, few seconds and change to the next.
Now using the standard 'stop' button in the new update (V1.10)

2. Why does the program seem to be blocked when I've first pressed 'Find files' ?
If you have pressed this button and selected 'c:\' for the location, the program will scrub your main hard drive and add found files in the playlist when they occur, keep waiting, it shouldn't be too long and the program is not blocked.

3. Why are there invalid filenames in the playlist or uncomplete names?
Simply rename your files and delete commas ',' as the program doesn't allow commas in filenames. Note : commas in filenames are not usual and you should replace them by '_' or '-' symbols.
Now accepting any filenames in the new update (V1.10)

4. How to delete a filename from my playlist?
Double-click on the filename and then it will be deleted from your playlist. Don't forget to save your playlist!

5. What is the purpose of the MP3 Player Agent?
The MP3 Player Agent is in charge of giving you a fast access to the MP3 Player and keep your system accurate for the program.

6. Why isn't my MP3 player working when opening a mp3 file?
You may need to update your Microsoft Windows Media codecs by going here and download the latest release of WM.

7. How to uninstall the program?
Under Windows 95/98 : edit the c:\windows\win.ini and replace 'C:\MP3PLAYER\MPAGENT.exe' by nothing. Under Windows NT/2000 : execute REGEDIT from the Start menu and search for 'mpagent' then delete the appropriated value in the registry. You will need to reboot your computer to finish uninstalling the program.
You can leave c:\mp3player if you wish to install it again in a further time.
The program does not make your computer slowing down and keep your privacy as it isn't etablishing an Internet connection like other mp3 players.

8. Why is the volume always updated to the middle position when changing from music?
Right-click at the bottom of the MP3 Player then ask for 'Options' then set the default volume for your current session.
Now set to the maximum by default in the new update (V1.10)

9. I defitively love your program! How can I pay you?
Sorry but the program is FREE and you don't have to pay for that...what we would like from you is to keep us updated of what you do with it, bugs or suggestions...

10. How can I find specific files, I mean looking for only an artist?
As our search engine is looking for the complete file path, you can enter the artist name in the 'File search filter' then press the 'Find files'...If you wish to search over a local network, map your network path by a drive letter then search it from the program...

11. How to add more files to the playlist?
You can add each new file by specially searching for it and only it, drag and drop the icon in the playlist then check the 'Append new files' box and save the playlist. It will be therefore added to your playlist when you'll open your playlist. You can also close the program and open any mp3 file on your computer by double-clicking on it, it may played by the program then you can check the 'Append new file' box and save the playlist.

12. How to send my playlist to my friends and manage several playlists?
Simply send the 'c:\mp3player\playlist.txt' file to your friends, it will be possible to open it as a text file. You can also manage several playlists by saving them as different filenames then restoring them by renaming them by 'playlist.txt'.

13. How to play video files and additional file extensions?
Simply list the files as usual in the playlist, play them and use the right-click button at the bottom of the program and select the appropriate option : 'Full screen' or similar option to maximize the viewing screen unless you'll only listen to the soundtrack of the file.
